About Me

I have had the privilege of studying healing from diverse perspectives — from formal training in psychology at contemporary universities to immersive learning with shamans and traditional healers in the Amazon. Through this journey, I have come to believe that the integration of modern psychotherapy with ancient healing wisdom can create profound shifts in the mind, body, and spirit.

Many individuals carry the imprint of difficult or traumatic life experiences. With a strong foundation in the neurobiology of trauma and stress, I intentionally incorporate the body into the therapeutic process to support whole-person healing. While psychological symptoms may present in similar ways, I view each client as fundamentally unique. Honoring that individuality is central to my treatment approach.

My philosophy is deeply rooted in Humanistic Psychology. I believe that, within the right relational environment, each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and realize their fullest potential. My role is to cultivate that environment — one grounded in safety, attunement, and respect. Within this space, I integrate a range of evidence-based and experiential interventions designed to access the mind-body’s innate wisdom, release what no longer serves, and support meaningful integration.

At my core, I believe we are wired for healing. With the right tools and support, we can harness this inherent capacity and move toward vibrant, resilient, and fulfilling lives — regardless of our history.

Biography: I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the State University of New York and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. It was during my time at Nova that I began specializing in trauma and PTSD. My first graduate internship was at a treatment center serving survivors of abuse, where I gained extensive clinical experience working with posttraumatic stress disorder and trauma-related conditions. It was there that I witnessed firsthand that insight and talk alone are often not sufficient for deep trauma resolution.

This early clinical work inspired me to pursue advanced training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, where I completed a post-graduate certificate in Trauma Studies. I have continued to deepen my expertise through extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Energy Psychology, Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Mind-Body Medicine.

I later earned a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University. My doctoral research explored an integrative treatment model combining energy psychology and hypnosis for sexual assault–specific PTSD. Ongoing study and clinical inquiry remain central to my professional identity. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and skills in order to provide the most effective, attuned, and individualized care for my clients — which has always been my highest priority.
